This is the beginning….

Hi Guys, 

My name is Scott Alabed and this is my tumblr. My life is pretty simple for the most part which may make you think these blogs will be boring, but there’s one thing in my life that I do and its tour which maybe now you might be interested in my tumblr, hopefully. I tour with different bands around the world hired as a touring merchant. Basically, a touring merchant is the guy/girl you buy merchandise from when you go to see a concert. As of today July 2, 2009 I am on tour with This Providence a rock band from Seattle, WA. The tour we are on is called the “Let’s Make a Mess Tour” and our next show, in two days, is in Toronto, ON. The tour is going very good and Im really liking the This Providence guys alot. One might wonder what its like to tour, touring to me is alot of fun, sometimes stressful and its always hard work. The good things about tour are you meet new people everyday, you’re in a different city everyday and you never ever ever know what’s going to happen. I’ve been touring for almost two years now with 3 different bands. I spent a year and a half with a New York based rock/indie band called Steel Train. I’ve done four tours with a Pittsburgh based piano rock band called The Morning Light and This is my first tour with This Providence and I’m having a great time. Well guys, its 6:21 am and I need to get some sleep. I hope all of you reading my tumblr blogs enjoy.
